I’m here to help you make that happen.

Hi, I’m Jessica Chranowski, a Holistic Health Practitioner, Medical Advocate, and UCSD-certified Mindfulness Instructor with a focus on neuroscience. I also work as a Standardized Patient at UCSD Medical Center, where I help train future doctors by acting as a real patient in medical scenarios. This unique role has given me an inside look at how doctors think and make decisions, which has helped me confidently advocate for my own care. But I know that’s not the case for everyone, and that’s why I created this course.

For years, I’ve helped friends and clients communicate with doctors and get the care they need. But in August 2024, a personal experience made me realize just how important these skills are—after a raccoon attack left me unable to work for months, I had to navigate multiple ER and doctor visits, and I saw firsthand how much my advocacy skills made a difference. That’s when I decided to take everything I’ve learned and turn it into this course.
